About the breach

ALIEN TXTBASE is a massive data dump from February 2025 containing roughly 23 billion rows of infostealer malware logs, including hundreds of millions of exposed email addresses and passwords.

Harvested by malware like RedLine and Lumma, these credentials have been integrated into public security databases.

Many people who has malware installed on their PCs or mobile devices, or those making use of pirated software, which may contain malware, may see their information shared with hackers globally.

How to protect yourself

In order to protect yourself, we recommend the following:

1. Immediately change all your passwords to something you have never used before.

2. Download and install an Authenticator app from Google or Microsoft on your mobile device. Activate 2FA on all websites you use that permits it.

3. Purchase, install and run an Anti-Virus software, like Eset on your devices.

4. Be aware of an increase in possible spam or scam emails you may receive.

5. If you are making use of pirated software, considering removing this software and opting into a paid version from the developers, or making use of legitimate alternatives.
